Completed her degree of Associate in Applied Science Dental Hygiene at New York City College of Technology of the city university of New York in 2009.
She has been recognized for her exemplary professionalism by American Dental Association and the New York State Dental Association.
For the last 2 years she has enjoyed working in Esthetix Dental Spa, the place where every employee can grow up professionally and experience new ideas.

Six years ago I had the opportunity to start working as a Dental Assistant for the doctors of Esthetix Dental Spa. Today, as the Office Manager, I am not only able to offer patients my support in the chair, but also throughout their entire experience at our office.
Helping our patients obtain the smile they desire at a reasonable rate brings great satisfaction to everyone. Seeing the smile on our patients after a completed treatment brings great joy and fulfillment.
I believe that being able to help our patients both in and out the chair is the best aspect of my career in Esthetix. Having the knowledge of the technology behind all our procedures allows me to better serve our patients.
During my free time I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and experiencing all the adventures New York City has to offer.

Devon Torain, Dental Assistant
Hey, How's it going!
My name is Devon, but I'm pretty much known around the office as Divo. I'm a first year Certified Dental Assistant at Esthetix Dental Spa, and I'm enjoying everyday that flies by.
Here at Esthetix Dental Spa, the staff not only strive to make your smile and appearance beautiful, but your attitude and mind state as well. Everyday to wake up and come to work, to see my patients, just bring a sense of joy to my heart because I enjoy what I do. I work hard, not just as a dental assistant, but as a proud father to my beautiful daughter Madison Elle, age 1. It's really a full time job to juggle the two things I love the most, but keep a clear, stress-free mind full of positive thoughts and ideas can really play a huge role in and out of the work place.
I work hard, so I play hard, so when I'm not all masked, scrubed and gloved up I like to spend my free time out in the park either enjoying the view, or on the basketball court shooting some hoops with the nearby kids. Also I enjoy going to the beach in the summer time and extreme snowboarding in the frigid winters, bring on the snow!! But most of all out of the activities I've named I enjoy mostly just being happy and taking each day as it comes. Sometimes its best just to kick back and relax, because at times that's just that the mind, body, and soul need to remain at peace.
So with faith and without fear I'm trying to take my life, and everybody in it, to the heights and way far beyond the next level. As a child growing up, my head was always in the clouds, I've always been a dreamer. At Esthetix, I feel like the clouds have all cleared up, and my dreams to be the best that I can be, have already came into reality.

I work at Estheticare Dental as a Medical Biller. I really enjoy the work I do. Working for Estheticare Dental has taught me a lot about myself and has been very rewarding. I enjoy helping people and doing anything that has to do with paper work and data entry.
I am a perfectionist. I do not stop until things get done and are accurate.
I enjoy reading and watching movies on my spare time. My objective in life is to better myself economically and to always be the best I can be.

Hello, my name is Penelope Alvarez, and I am the Financial Secretary here at E.D.S. As a child I was born and raised in Dominican Republic. Living in New York City for quite some time, I’ve acquired lot skills that have brought me to the position I’m at now.
Studying in Connecticut, at Three Rivers Community College, I’ve gained a lot of experience studying and working in the nursing position. The health and wellness of the people in the medical and dental field have always been a passion of mine. I believe in this because I have a big heart, friendly and I’m a very carful understanding person.
I’m also known to be a problem solver, because I work well with others to figure out a better solution, to everyday problems.
Working with patients day by day in this new environment has helped me in my own personal life. As a loving understanding mother to my handsome 8 year old son and now to the beautiful bundle of joy I have on the way, I will be a great Role model for my children.

Aura Guzman & Louann Nunez
I’m Louann, one of the first voices you hear upon calling our office and one of the first faces you will see upon entering our office. I’ve always learned with my job a smile goes a long way. I am always willing to help and always willing to learn something new. In our office we are always looking to cater to your needs, so if you have any questions I will be willing to help answer as much as we can.
With my position I hope to learn more about the dental field and expand my knowledge. I come from having a medical assisting experience and courses taken in Human services. Furthermore, I hope to move up with Esthetix Dental Spa and get to my real calling which is helping the patients in the op room.
Continually, a little more about me is, I love to dance anything from Ballet to Latin. I also love spending time with my son and family. Quality time with them has always been very important to me.
