Arvind Philomin, DDS DICOI (Director and CEO of Esthetix Dental)
A Dental practice should exude excellence and compassion. The doctor standing behind it is the source of its philosophy and direction. With Dr. Philomin's years of accomplishments and reputation, it is clear that he is the driving force behind the standards of excellence and passion of Esthetix Dental Spa. Dr. Philomin earned his Bachelors in Dental Surgery in India in 1996. Subsequent to his Dental Degree education, he spent two years in Central NY as a Master Dental Technician as a source of experience in learning, understanding and delivering incredibly beautiful and life like teeth.
He acquired his Graduate Degree at NYU College of Dentistry in 2002. During and after completion, he became involved in the art and science of Implantology, and since has helped many patients restore function, health and beauty. He is a Fellow and a Diplomate of the International College of Oral Implantology and is highly trained and qualified to treat various procedures, including soft tissue and bone harvesting techniques. His very own innovative techniques in Implantology has provided patients with more effective infrastructures to build teeth implants.

In his free time Dr. Philomin enjoys New York City's fine food and restaurants and all the different cuisines the city has to offer. He also enjoys traveling with his wife and child.
Divya Adusumilli, DDS
Dr. Adusumilli is the backbone, supporting Dr. Philomin's philosophy and direction. Upon graduation from New York University, College of Dentistry she embarked on a joint venture with Dr. Philomin at Esthetix Dental Spa. Dr. Adusumilli has been practicing general, cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics for over 5 years. She is extremely meticulous and realizes the importance of communicating treatment options to her patients. She truly enjoys changing the stereotypical dental visit to one that is pain free, positive and fully enjoyable. She is certified for IV sedation.Passionate about dentistry and dedicated to a life long commitment of continuing education, Dr. Adusumilli relentlessly enrolls in continuing education programs to stay current with all the latest advances in dentistry. She is one among the few providers in NYC for the Six Month Smile braces system, clear braces system on adults with results in 6 months or less.
She is also a sustaining member of The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, member of the International Association of Orthodontics and Fellow - International Congress of Implantology.
She believes that education is the key to life. A true follower of the Applied Scholostics Education actively takes part in raising funds and donates to the Ability School in Englewood, NJ.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and traveling.
Johnny Withanachchi, DDS
Canadian born, Dr. Withanachchi completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta, and upon finishing dental school at Howard University in 2005, Dr. Withanachchi was awarded the highest honor for a graduating dentist. The Dean’s award is given each year to the graduating dentist with the highest level of clinical skill, most superior academic performance, and most exemplary character. He also received the Oral Pathology award, Oral Surgery award, Physiology award, and Pharmacology award amongst many other awards and accolades.
Dr. Withanachchi went on to complete general practice residency at Bronx Lebanon hospital at which time he discovered his aptitude for endodontics. He went on to set a clinical record for most root canals don’t by a first year resident. In 2006 he began a two year post-doctoral residency in Endodontics at New York University where he worked closely with some of the best board certified Endodontists in the world. He learned important principles of pain and anxiety management, which he took a great interest in mastering because as an endodontist, a great percentage of patients are in acute pain which often results in apprehension.
In addition, Dr. Withanachchi is committed to community service and has been involved in outreach programs in Jamaica and Honduras where he volunteered his time and skill-set to help those that do not have the resources not the access to dental care. He has also been involved in voluntary dental screenings in inner city public schools in the Bronx.
Dr. Withanachchi has commitment to Oral Biology, community dentistry, dental research, lecturing to other dentists, and leadership with the profession. Excellence in endodontics is important to him and he spends a great deal of time keeping abreast of the most up to date research. He is also a member of the American dental Association as well as the American Association of Endodontics

Jonice Thompson, DDS
Dr. Thompson completed her undergraduate degree at Barry University in Miami, Florida in 2001, and completed Dental School at Howard University in Washington DC in 2005. After graduating Dental School, she opted to advance her training at Mount Sinai Hospital, where she completed her General Practice Residency.
Dr. Thompson is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry, which encourages participation in continuing education courses in order to stay on the cutting edge of her profession. Currently she is practicing general dentistry at Esthetix Dental Spa but has a strong interest in oral surgery which she will be pursuing in the upcoming academic year.
In her free time Dr. Thompson enjoys to travel, and is making marks on the globe with travel to London, Paris, Switzerland, Germany and most recently Japan, Mexico, the Caribbean and Hawaii. To stay fit she enjoys Yoga and running in central park, and recently completed the New York City marathon in 2010. However her love for running has been placed on hold as she is expecting a bundle of joy this October, but by the New Year she hopes to be lacing up her sneakers and hitting the pavement once again.
The underprivileged has benefited from her generosity and good nature when she participated in community service outreach programs in Jamaica, where she used her skills to help those without the resources or access to dental care. She also volunteers her skills at health fairs in her New York community. It is important for Dr. Thompson to serve her patients and meet all their dental needs with the best standards of care.
